Due to continued growth, we are seeking an operations professional to join the existing team. What you’ll be doing: As an Operations Project Associate, you will support the Operations team acrossongoing operational initiatives, process improvements, new project implementation, andselected BAU operational activities. The role combines hands-on Operations supportwith project-related work, particularly where process automation, data analysis, testing,and workflow improvement are required. Your duties will include: Supporting the Operations team in daily operational workflows (both early andlate shift), including trade capture, reconciliation, reporting, settlement follow-up,and exception management. Providing backup support for BAU Operations activities when required, includingdaily trade checks, cash and position reconciliations, settlement follow-up,reporting, and exception handling. Ensuring continuity of key operational processes during team absences, peakworkload periods, or project implementation phases. Assisting with the development, testing, and enhancement of operationalprocesses across trading, reconciliation, reporting, and control frameworks. Working closely with Operations and Technology to help automate manualworkflows, improve data quality, and increase process scalability. Supporting new project rollouts by preparing test cases, performing useracceptance testing, documenting issues, and coordinating follow-ups withrelevant stakeholders. Helping to analyse operational breaks, data inconsistencies, and workflowinefficiencies, and proposing practical solutions Preparing clear documentation of processes, controls, test results, andimplementation steps. What you’ll bring: Proven hands-on experience in Operations, Trading Operations, Middle Office, ora similar financial services environment. Strong coding or scripting skills, ideally with experience in Python, SQL, VBA, orsimilar tools. A strong interest in operational automation, process improvement, and projectimplementation. Good understanding of trade lifecycle, reconciliations, settlements, cashmovements, and operational controls. Ability to support BAU operational processes while also contributing to projectand automation initiatives. Ability to work independently, investigate issues, and translate businessrequirements into practical operational or technical solutions. Strong attention to detail, structured working >processes clearly. Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills in English. Availability for a 6-month contract and ad-hoc late shift coverage. Preferred experience: Experience with OMS platforms, reconciliation tools, broker/custodian portals, ortrading-related systems. Hands-on exposure to financial instruments such as equities, futures, FX, OTCderivatives, CFDs, or fixed income products. Experience supporting system implementation, data mapping, UAT, oroperational automation projects. Familiarity with reporting, exception management, margin/cash reconciliation, orregulatory reporting workflows. Prior experience in a hedge fund, asset manager, broker, bank, or tradingenvironment.
