You Will
- Maintain and track the rental fleet.
- Maintain inventory of shop equipment and supplies.
- Assis the Rental/Retail Manager in driving programs to increase business.
- Ensure shop policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Assist with training staff to ensure consistent, quality repairs and service.
- Act as a leader by demonstrating exceptional service quality and communicating on behalf of the resort and department.
- Engage in or lead daily team meetings, training and other communications necessary to provide a high-quality experience for staff and guests of the resort.
- Fit guests with appropriate equipment and ensure legal waivers are distributed and completed.
- Support retail operations by stocking and receiving products, tracking inventory, cleaning and tidying the store.
- Assist guests in the shop with through friendly interaction, sales assistance, and recommendation about equipment or products.
- Assist in maintaining efficient labor costs by scheduling and delegating staff effectively.
- Work flexible shifts with varying hours, depending on factors such as weather and visitation levels.
- Work for extended periods in harsh weather conditions (cold, wind, heat, altitude).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Have previous experience delivering excellent customer service and maintaining service standards.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of bike repairs and servicing.
- Are familiar with mountain bikes and related equipment, as well as bike rental/repair shops and procedures.
- Have previous experience supervising staff.
- Are familiar with downhill bike products and suspensions.
- Are proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Have passion and enthusiasm for mountain culture & biking, and the resort environment.
- Have previous sales experience and use of Point of Sale (POS) applications.
- Have cash handling experience.
- Competitive wage: $20.46 - 23.46/hour, dependent on experience
