On March 6, 2026, we’re inviting a small group of exceptional graduates to join us at our London office for an Algorithmic Trader Assessment Day. This is a chance to meet experienced Wintermute traders, take part in interesting technical challenges, and learn more about how we operate.

Calling all curious problem-solvers!
This isn’t a traditional interview. It’s an assessment day designed to challenge you and give you a genuine feel for life at Wintermute.
You’ll spend the evening tackling practical trading-inspired problems, learning from senior members of our team, and meeting traders and other Wintermute employees. Along the way, you’ll explore our office, get a sense of our culture, and see how we think about markets.
There will also be free food and drinks throughout the evening, plus some Wintermute merch up for grabs.

Who should register:

• You don’t need prior trading experience; curiosity matters more. This is for people who:
• Are interested in a trading role at Wintermute starting in 2026
• Love solving hard problems with Python
• Are curious about crypto, HFT and liquidity provision
• Want responsibility, ownership, and real impact 

How to join:

• Register using your CV until Feb 15, 2026
• Successful applicants will receive our online assessments before February 20 
• Top performers are invited to the in-person Assessment day before February 27 This is an in-person event, Wintermute will cover the train ticket costs within the UK
