Senior Software Engineer -Colombia

This role is a great fit for an experienced software developer who has a genuine joy for writing code and a demonstrable history of engineering complex systems. You are a full-stack developer who can comfortably work on both the backend and frontend of a web or mobile application. You can also roll up your sleeves and contribute with DevOps and data engineering efforts. You may not have much hands-on experience with advanced technologies - like artificial intelligence, spatial computing, and blockchains - but you’d love to have an opportunity to learn more about these domains and expand your skill set. You are a leader who communicates clearly and proactively, mentors junior colleagues, and thinks seriously about product success beyond strict code production.What you’ll do:

• Design, develop, and maintain features across web and mobile applications
• Possibly work with emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, spatial computing, and blockchain / crypto
• Translate product requirements into scalable, maintainable systems
• Help shape technical direction and make key architectural decisions
• Collaborate with designers, PMs, and other devs to define requirements, plan team work, and build new features and systems
• Review code, improve quality, and share knowledge with the team
• Stay hands-on and up to date with modern engineering trends
• Opportunity to lead project teams and be a technical decision maker

• Front-end: React, TypeScript

• Back-end: PHP (Laravel)
• Other: Stripe SDK, Docker, Kubernetes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 6+ years of experience building modern web or mobile applications
• Strong understanding of software architecture, testing, and performance
• Deep experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, with expertise in Node.js, ReactNative and React
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong English communication skills and a team-first mindset
• Bonus: experience in early-stage startups, AI-enhanced products, or product ownership

Benefits
