DESCRIPTION: Join our Meetings & Events team as a Meetings & Events Specialist I, where you'll contribute to delivering impactful corporate events. This position offers opportunity for growth in event planning while working with experienced professionals. You'll assist in coordinating trade shows, conferences, webinars and the annual commercial meeting, while managing budgets and analyzing metrics to ensure success. Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, you'll help align event strategies with company objectives and contribute to our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor's degree required. Event or project management experience preferred • Preferred Fields of Study: Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with meticulous attention to detail • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills • Creative and innovative approach to event planning • Fluency in English and German required Ability to travel up to 40% of the time • Flexibility to work weekends and irregular hours as needed • Proficiency in budget tracking and reporting • Experience in process management and stakeholder coordination • Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously while maintaining high standards • Strong analytical skills for metrics tracking and goal achievement Experience with AI to drive customer engagement during events Computer skills and competencies: Platforms: Windows - Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Knowledge of marketing tools like: PowerBI, SmartSheet, SFDC (basic) Good knowledge of management accounting practices Originally posted on Himalayas
