Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Agency Sales Representative, based in Gilmer, TX, with some flexibility for remote work. The Agency Sales Representative will be responsible for building client relationships, identifying and converting potential leads, and driving sales of Colonial Life's insurance products. Daily responsibilities include prospecting new business opportunities, conducting presentations, delivering benefit education, and providing consultation to clients. The role also involves collaborating with team members to achieve sales goals and ensuring client satisfaction through tailored solutions.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and present information effectively
- Sales and negotiation skills to identify opportunities, close deals, and meet or exceed sales targets
- Self-motivation, time management, and organizational skills to manage workloads and reach goals independently
- Proficiency in basic technology tools, including CRM software and presentation software
- Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred, but equivalent work experience will be considered
- A state insurance license or the ability to obtain one within a specified time frame upon hiring
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding service
