Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead and expand our U.S. piping and fittings business across a multi-state territory. This senior-level role is responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic customer relationships, and leading regional sales initiatives.
The ideal candidate brings strong industry knowledge, a proven sales track record, and the ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a fast-growing market.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sales Leadership
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets and KPIs
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer demand to identify growth opportunities
- Drive market expansion initiatives and increase market share across the assigned territory
Business Development & Key Accounts
- Identify, pursue, and close high-value business opportunities
- Build and manage relationships with key accounts, including distributors, contractors, engineers, and municipalities
- Lead complex sales cycles, negotiations, and contract execution
Channel & Team Development
- Strengthen and expand distributor networks and channel partnerships
- Train, mentor, and support distributors and junior sales team members to improve performance
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, supply chain, marketing) to align business strategies
Operational Excellence
- Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM reporting
- Ensure accurate order management and high levels of customer satisfaction
- Resolve escalated customer issues and ensure long-term relationship success
Representation & Market Presence
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and key client meetings
- Enhance brand visibility and positioning within the regional market
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above (Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred)
- 5+ years of sales experience in manufacturing, building materials, distribution, or related industries
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a regional or territory-based role
- Experience in PVC piping, fittings, or construction-related products strongly preferred
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to manage complex sales cycles and key accounts
- Self-driven, strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities
- Experience working with distributors and channel partners
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a regional or leadership role
- Experience managing or mentoring sales teams
- Strong network within construction, infrastructure, or municipal sectors
Salary: 100,000/year + Commission
