The Sr Manager, AA Vacation Strategy and Delivery leads the vision, strategy, and performance of American Airlines Vacations, shaping how travelers discover and book end‑to‑end packaged travel experiences across air, hotel, ground transportation, and more. - Lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of the AA Vacations platform, ensuring a seamless and competitive packaged‑travel experience
- Oversee product development, user experience enhancements, and platform capabilities that drive conversion and customer satisfaction
- Develop and execute monetization strategies that maximize revenue and profitability across air, hotel, ground, and ancillary products
- Use data‑driven insights to evaluate performance, identify growth opportunities, and optimize pricing, packaging, and merchandising
- Partner with Digital, Revenue Management, Loyalty, Finance, and external suppliers to align on business goals and deliver integrated customer experiences
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure platform stability, scalability, and innovation
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance tracking for the AA Vacations business
- Champion continuous improvement, operational excellence, and customer‑centric design across the packaged‑travel ecosystem
- Represent AA Vacations as a subject‑matter expert across the enterprise, influencing strategy and decision‑making at senior levels
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Analytics, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in e‑commerce, travel, product management, strategy, or related commercial functions
- Demonstrated experience leading cross‑functional initiatives and delivering measurable business results
- Master’s degree (MBA or related field)
- Experience in packaged travel, hospitality, OTA, or airline commercial functions
- Background in product strategy, digital experience design, or platform management
- Familiarity with financial modeling, forecasting, and P&L ownership
- Experience leading teams or managing large‑scale vendor partnerships
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, build business cases, and drive insights‑based decisions
- Experience managing digital platforms, customer journeys, or online merchandising
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and communicate effectively at all organizational levels
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder‑management skills
- Ability to lead through influence in a matrixed environment
- Strong problem‑solving skills and comfort with ambiguity
