The intern will assist with financial analysis and reporting projects, including commissions, inventory, budgeting, margin analysis, and cost allocation across departments. Key deliverables include standardized templates for RPOs and usage agreements, detailed margin and cost allocation models, and actionable insights from data analysis. These efforts aim to improve accuracy, efficiency, and transparency in financial processes, supporting better decision-making across the organization.

Essential Functions

  • Support financial analysis and reporting initiatives across multiple business areas
  • Assist with commission analysis and reporting
  • Conduct inventory reviews and analysis
  • Provide budgeting and forecasting support
  • Analyze margins and identify trends or opportunities
  • Help develop and maintain cost allocation models
  • Contribute to improving financial accuracy, efficiency, and transparency
  • All other duties assigned

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate is pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting (at least 12 credits of accounting, 3 credits of finance, and 3 credits of business law), or a related field.
  • Has strong technical skills in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis) and basic knowledge of SQL for querying and managing data.
  • The intern should demonstrate attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to learn quickly.
  • Strong communication skills, time management, and a collaborative mindset are essential for success in this role.
