Responsibilities
- Collect, prepare, and process patient specimens for laboratory analysis in accordance with established protocols.
- Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure optimal functioning and accuracy.
- Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests with precision and document results meticulously.
- Analyze and interpret test data, reporting findings promptly to medical personnel for diagnosis and treatment decisions.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, quality control procedures, and regulatory requirements at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of laboratory activities, specimen handling, and test results to facilitate traceability and compliance.
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide timely laboratory support and consultation.
- Two years of college with courses in biology, chemistry, and mathematics. An associate of Arts degree in Medical Laboratory Technology.
- Any Bachelors that are not MLS/CLS, we will need a transcript. Certification/License preferred but not required.
- Registration by the Registry Boards of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists desired.
- One year experience as Medical Technician is desired.
