The Role
At Bright Renewables, you’ll have the opportunity to lead and further professionalise our sales activities as Sales Manager. In this role, you’ll make a real impact: you’ll translate international market opportunities into concrete commercial strategies, strengthen our market position and build lasting relationships with customers worldwide.
What Are You Going To Do
As Sales Manager, you will combine strategy, leadership and commercial execution. You will have plenty of scope to improve sales processes, implement new methods and coach a team of Area Sales Managers. You will act as the link between sales, engineering, project delivery and service & maintenance, and make a direct contribution to the growth and profitability of Bright Renewables.
This is a key role within a growing business unit offering plenty of scope for initiative and entrepreneurship. As Sales Manager, you will report to the Head of Sales and work closely with the Sales Engineering Manager and the Business Development Manager.
Your Responsibilities
- Developing multi-year sales plans with KPIs, budgets and product portfolios;
- Identifying market opportunities, target groups and strategies within the business unit;
- Optimising sales processes and implementing new tools and methods;
- Leading, coaching and appraising the Area Sales Management team;
- Aligning sales forecasts and capacity with internal departments to ensure smooth project delivery;
- Monitoring internal technical standards and liaising with stakeholders in the event of deviations;
- Expanding the network and strengthening customer relationships.
- Higher vocational education (HBO+) or university (WO) level of working and thinking, with a background in commerce, engineering, trade or a similar field;
- Experience in sales strategy and team management, preferably in the chemical, process technology or EPC/GC sector;
- Knowledge of supply and contract terms (Orgalim, IchemE and/or Redbook);
- A strong network and a strong commercial drive;
- Understanding of sales processes, products and relevant technologies;
- Analytical, results-oriented, strong communicator and a team player;
- Fluent in English; Dutch and/or German would be an advantage.
- Good terms of employment and a salary commensurate with work experience and qualifications;
