Responsibilities
- Monitor, support, and enhance the security of current and future cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Evaluate and automate scaling and capacity requirements within multi-cloud environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve environment performance, connectivity, and security issues across Azure, AWS, and GCP
- Provide escalated support to end users and service desk technicians
- Implement new cloud environments and technologies
- Work with teams to integrate infrastructure components into processes and procedures
- Availability to work night and weekend hours on occasion as required
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field, or minimum of three (3) years’ experience supporting, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining enterprise information technology systems in Azure (Microsoft ecosystem).
- Knowledge of backup, restore, recovery, and high availability strategies for cloud environments
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot server and database resource issues (CPU, memory, I/O, disk space)
- Understanding of complex Active Directory, Azure AD, LDAP, and adherence to standards and procedures
- Advanced knowledge of DNS, DHCP, Kerberos, and Windows Authentication
- Familiarity with network protocols (DNS, SMTP, SNMP, SSH, SFTP) and TCP/IP routing/subnetting
- Working knowledge of VPN connectivity and client troubleshooting
- PowerShell skills
- AWS and GCP experience preferred
- Knowledge of Cisco Meraki network equipment/IOS preferred
- Certification(s) related to the cloud environment preferred (e.g., AZ-900 or higher, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Google Associate Cloud Engineer)
