Senior Accountant

Finance Responsibilities:

Accounting & Financial Close

• Manage month‑end and year‑end financial closing in compliance IFRS4 requirements.

Regulatory & Compliance Reporting

• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly & yearly regulatory reports to IRU, ensuring full compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Reinsurance Accounting & Settlements

• Oversee reinsurance accounts, monitoring outstanding balances, and timely RI settlements.
• Coordinate with reinsurers and underwriting teams to resolve discrepancies and pending balances.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management

• Prepare and monitor ageing analysis and collection position reports.
• Execute online bank payments and manage ongoing bank correspondence and confirmations.
• Monitor active fixed deposits, including maturity tracking, renewals, and interest reconciliation.

Accounts Control & Reconciliations

• Perform and review intercompany reconciliations on a periodic basis.

Receivables & Collections

• Lead receivable follow‑ups with direct clients and major accounts.
• Supervise junior accounts for follow-ups with broker

Monthly Salary processing

• Process monthly payroll/Bank payment/booking

Audit & Assurance Support

• Provide full support to internal and external auditors

Team supervision

• Supervise junior accounts for daily tasks

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Fluency in English (reading, writing, and communication).
• Knowledge of Arabic will be an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 7–10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Prior experience working within an insurance company is required.
