Senior Business Development Manager, Contract Logistics


Are you a strong sales professional with an entrepreneurial mindset and in-depth knowledge of the German contract logistics market? Then join our team and help drive sustainable growth.

As Senior Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new customer potential, developing tailored logistics and outsourcing solutions, and managing the entire sales process — from the initial contact through to the successful conclusion of contracts.


You will work closely with internal departments and management, while strategically applying your market expertise, network, and hunter mentality.


Your Responsibilities


- Actively acquire new customers through various sales channels

- Expand and maintain existing customer relationships

- Represent the company at trade fairs and relevant industry events

- Advise customers and develop customized logistics and outsourcing concepts

- Prepare, evaluate, and manage tenders from a commercial perspective

- Analyze buying centers and develop compelling USPs in close collaboration with internal departments

- Closely coordinate offers and tenders with management

- Manage the entire sales process from first contact to contract conclusion

- Support contract negotiations and closing processes


What You Bring


- A degree in logistics, business administration, or a comparable qualification/training

- At least 5 years of professional experience in sales or business development, ideally in contract logistics

- A proven track record in acquiring new customers and driving sustainable business growth

- Excellent knowledge of the German contract logistics market

- A strong, hands-on network within the industry

- Strong sales and communication skills combined with a clear hunter mentality

- Good written and spoken English & German skills

- High mobility and willingness to travel within Germany

- High level of self-motivation, entrepreneurial thinking and acting, and strong team spirit
