Songbird Survey Technician

Songbird Survey Technician job involves conducting point counts, scouting new sites, transcribing data, and quality assurance. Candidates must be able to identify songbirds by sight and sound, and prior bird sight and sound identification skills are required. Travel is anticipated to project sites and reimbursement is provided. Requirements - Must be able to identify songbirds common to the area by sight and sound - Prior bird sight and sound identification skills are required - Driver's license is required - Good physical condition is required - Familiarity with rangefinders and GPS is preferred - Experience with data entry software is preferred
