Job Purpose:
The Group Reporting Junior plays a significant role in assisting the consolidation, planning, and reporting of financial processes for the Group. This position ensures accurate and timely reporting in compliance with international policies and regulatory requirements for more than 30 Business Units, a key scope of responsibility that requires strong attention to detail and coordination across multiple entities, as well as managing all communications from Corporate departments to local financial teams.
This position requires a proactive mindset and the ability to take ownership and responsibility, actively collaborating in the implementation of financial reporting processes and controls, as well as contributing to automation initiatives and the deployment of new reporting tools. It also involves planning and task follow-up to ensure deadlines and deliverables are consistently met. The role additionally supports the preparation of external financial statements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow up the timely and accurate submission of group financial information.
- Management of announcements and communications from Corporate to subsidiaries.
- Assist in preparing weekly, monthly, and annual group report.
- Collaboration and Support the implementation of new financial systems, tools or automatizations for group reporting.
- Support the preparation of annual statutory accounts.
- Assist in preparing financial reports for stakeholders, including senior management, board members, and auditors.
- Work closely with regional finance teams to gather and review financial data.
- Assist in ad-hoc financial analysis and projects related to mergers, acquisitions, or restructuring.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Accounting knowledge in compliance with IFRS and Local GAAP and other relevant reporting standards.
Experience:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in group reporting, consolidation, audit roles or finance department.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong communication skills to convey corporate messages to subsidiaries.
- Proficiency with a variety of communication tools.
- C1 English level is a must, with the ability to work comfortably in international environments.
- Meticulous and analytical, with the ability to analyze financial information
- Strong organizational skills and problem-solving skills
- Ability to monitor and manage large volumes of information.
