Primary Purpose

Assist the school principal in overall administration of instructional program and campus level operations. Coordinate assigned student activities and services. This job is expected to be mostly in the office but come with the possibility to work remotely (from home) a few days per week as determined by your supervisor.

Qualifications

Education/Certification:

Master's degree

Valid Texas mid-management certificate, Texas principal or other appropriate Texas certificate

Advanced Education Leadership (AEL) certification, Instructional Leadership Training (ILT), or

Instructional Leadership Development (ILD)

Special Knowledge/Skills

Knowledge of campus operations

Working knowledge of curriculum and instruction

Ability to evaluate instructional program and teaching effectiveness

Ability to manage budget and personnel

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Ability to implement policy and procedures

Ability to interpret data

Experience

Three years' experience as a classroom teacher

2 years' experience in instructional leadership roles
