Business Systems Analyst – Payments

Business System Analyst with experience in Faster Payments or Retail Payments, focusing on API and microservices-based applications.

Required Skills
* 7 to 10 years of BSA experience
* Strong experience in Faster Payments / Retail Payments
* Experience with API-based and microservices architecture
* Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills
* Experience in Agile delivery model
* Knowledge of ISO 20022 / real-time payments
* Strong experience of payment applications preferably wires processing (SWIFT and FED) with knowledge of ISO20022 standards
* Exposure to tools like Jira, Confluence

Key Responsibilities
* Gather and document business and system requirements
* Translate business needs into user stories and API requirements
* Work closely with development and QE teams
* Define acceptance criteria using BDD (Gherkin preferred)
* Support API design discussions and integration flows
* Participate in testing and validation cycles
