A well‑capitalized, privately held real estate investment and development firm with a national footprint and an integrated operating model is seeking a senior development leader to build and lead its Florida industrial platform.
The firm is an established sponsor across multiple real estate sectors, with a self‑perform general contracting model that enables speed to market, control over execution, and consistent delivery at scale. The industrial division is a core growth strategy, with a pipeline exceeding $2 billion across more than 10 U.S. states, spanning build‑to‑suit and speculative development.
Role
This is a senior, region‑leading role responsible for originating, capitalising, and delivering industrial development projects across Florida.
The SVP will have full responsibility for:
- Building and executing a sustained pipeline of industrial projects
- Leading development strategy for the Florida region
- Sourcing sites and transactions, structuring deals, and securing capital approvals
- Overseeing execution from acquisition through stabilization, leveraging an in‑house, self‑perform GC model
- Managing internal teams and external partners across development, construction, design, and leasing
- Acting as the firm’s senior representative in the Florida industrial market
The role sits at the senior leadership table, with clear visibility to growth into broader regional or national responsibility as the platform continues to scale.
Candidate
The successful candidate will be a senior industrial development professional with deep Florida market knowledge and a track record of delivering large‑scale projects.
Ideal profile:
- Extensive experience in industrial development (logistics, warehouse, distribution, manufacturing)
- Proven ability to source, underwrite, and execute ground‑up industrial deals
- Strong command of the full development lifecycle: land acquisition, entitlements, design, construction, and delivery
- Experience working with or alongside a vertically integrated or self‑perform construction model
- Demonstrated success building and managing multi‑project pipelines
- Strong market relationships across brokers, municipalities, contractors, and capital partners
- Entrepreneurial, commercially minded, and comfortable operating with regional autonomy
This role will suit a candidate currently operating at SVP / VP+ level, or a high‑performing Director ready for a significant step‑up into a regional leadership position.
