Reedsburg Area Medical Center is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our incredible Med Surg team—where you can make a meaningful impact every day.

✔ Acuity-Based Staffing Model to Support Safe, Balanced Patient Assignments

Schedule:

• 36 hours per week
• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Nights)
• Every 3rd weekend & rotating holidays

The RN collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, patient-centered care while promoting health and continuity of care in a cost-effective manner. This role includes working within an acuity-based staffing model, ensuring patient assignments are aligned with patient needs and nurse workload to support safe, balanced, and effective care delivery.

You’ll provide direct nursing care, support patients and families, and utilize the nursing process in accordance with professional standards. Patient populations include newborns, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current Wisconsin RN license
• BLS required; PALS & ACLS within one year of hire
• Advanced certification preferred
• Must meet Employee Health requirements

This role includes frequent standing/walking, occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs), and hands-on patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Team members should be comfortable working collaboratively, thinking critically, and adapting to changing patient needs.
