Investment Banking Associate - Debt

I am working with a leading Investment Bank that is looking to add an Investment Banking Analyst / Associate to their credit and special situations team in Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities:

• Build and update financial models (LBO, liquidity, downside cases) to assess capital structures and recovery scenarios.
• Support restructuring and debt advisory mandates through presentations, analyses, and stakeholder materials.
• Conduct credit analysis, including performance review, covenants, and stress-testing.
• Assist in deal execution (distressed M&A, refinancing) by managing data rooms and coordinating stakeholders.
• Perform market, valuation, and comparable analysis to support pricing and strategy.

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of experience for Analyst candidates; 2–3 years for Associate candidates
• Prior investment banking, valuation, restructuring, debt advisory, or special situations experience preferred
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skill set
• Interest in debt placements, credit, restructuring, and special situations investing
• Generalist mindset with the ability to work across industries and transaction types
• Candidates with valuation or credit-focused backgrounds are encouraged to apply
