Inside Sales Manager

Department: Sales | Type: Full-Time | Level: Mid-Level


About the Role

We are looking for a driven and analytically minded Inside Sales Manager to join our wholesale sales team. In this role, you will be the engine behind growing our existing wholesale business through various initiatives such as managing our key and house accounts, reviewing data to uncover opportunities, equipping our field representatives with proactive selling strategies, and owning the execution of our wholesale tradeshow calendar.


Key Responsibilities


Account Manager

  • Maintain and grow identified VIP customers and Key Accounts
  • Continuously evaluate and grow wholesale house accounts through all wholesale channels
  • Identify regional gaps and opportunities to strategically build the business while maintaining an on-brand experience in the field

Business Growth & Account Analysis

  • Analyze product performance across top wholesale accounts to identify trends, gaps, and untapped revenue opportunities
  • Oversee account management through all wholesale platforms with ecommerce and marketing teams to ensure optimal experience to retain and grow business
  • Develop and present data-driven selling strategies to maximize sell-through and grow order volume with existing customers
  • Monitor account health and flag at-risk business, recommending corrective action plans

Tradeshow Management

  • Manage end-to-end planning and execution of wholesale tradeshows — primarily Winter and Summer markets, approximately 8 shows per season
  • Coordinate logistics including booth setup, product assortment, and applicable appointment scheduling
  • Capture and follow-up on leads and orders generated at each show
  • Ownership of cross-departmental wholesale customer voice communication

Field Sales Support

  • Serve as a strategic support for the five national sales representative groups
  • Create sales tools, selling guides, and reporting resources that empower reps to have more effective customer conversations that align with our internal goals
  • Maintain consistent communication with the field team to ensure alignment on priorities, promotions, and product focus


Qualifications


  • 3–5 years of experience in inside sales, wholesale sales support, or a related role
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable selling strategies
  • Experience strategically supporting VIP customers and national sales representatives
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Excel or similar reporting tools; experience with an ERP (Netsuite) or CRM system a plus
  • Tradeshow or event coordination experience preferred
  • Ability to travel for tradeshows (approximately 8 shows per year)


What Success Looks Like


  • The role has evaluated all wholesale customers, identified the best VIP customer list, and has built and managed strong relationships those customers and our key accounts
  • Wholesale customer voice is shared cross-departmentally to improve overall experience and customer retention
  • Wholesale tradeshows are successfully managed with timely and organized booth setups, strong performance and relationship building, and end with several leads or new customers to continue to grow the business
  • Selling channels are fully optimized through collaboration with various departments for customer retention and growth
  • Quarterly customer health check meetings are held and key takeaways and initiatives come out of it
