Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & People Management
- Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing team of O365 and Azure engineers and administrators.
- Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
- Conduct performance management, career development planning, and succession planning.
- Partner with HR and leadership on hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning.
- Foster strong relationships with peers, stakeholders, and executive leadership through clear, confident communication.
- Own the overall health, security (in partnership with CyberSecurity teammates), and roadmap for Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Entra ID, and related security/compliance capabilities.
- Ensure best practices for identity, access management, licensing, data protection, governance, and lifecycle management.
- Act as the senior escalation point for complex O365 issues and incidents.
- Work with key teammates to establish architecture, standards and policies for the platform
- Lead the implementation and ongoing optimization of Azure infrastructure and platform services.
- Own operational activities for subscriptions, networking, security, cost management, and identity integration.
- Partner with application, security, and architecture teams to deliver resilient and scalable Azure solutions.
- Oversee monitoring, disaster recovery/business continuity, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Establish standards, policies, and patterns for O365 and Azure environments.
- Ensure alignment in conjunction with the CyberSecurity team on enterprise security, compliance, and risk management requirements.
- Work with teammates to evaluate new Microsoft capabilities and cloud innovations, translating them into business value.
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of cloud services.
- Drive incident, problem, and change management best practices.
- Optimize cloud costs while maintaining service quality and scalability.
- Maintain clear documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.

Qualifications
The Experience You Will Bring (Minimum Requirements):
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience working with Microsoft technologies, including deep hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure, and licensing and subscriptions
- 5+ years of people management experience, leading technical teams in an enterprise environment
- 3+ years of financial acumen managing the spend and analytics around both environments
- Strong expertise in identity and access management, security, networking, and cloud operations
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language
- Experience leading cloud transformations or large‑scale migrations
- Strong vendor management and financial/budget ownership experience
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence without authority
- Calm, confident presence during incidents and executive‑level discussions
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect and/or Administrator, Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator, Security certifications)
- We require the ability to pass a drug screen and background checks. Candidates must have the ability to perform the requirements of the job with or without accommodations. No travel required
- Must reside in the metro Atlanta area and be able to commute to the corporate office daily
