- Extract, transform, and validate data obtained from various to build clean and consistent datasets for analysis.
- Develop and maintain standardized data models and metrics that promote a single source of truth across teams.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across projects and reporting tools.
- Automate reporting processes and support BI system implementation and optimization.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Finance, and Operations to meet data and reporting needs.
- Monitor data quality and proactively identify inconsistencies or gaps in data integrity, working with technical teams to resolve issues.
- Automate recurring data requests and streamline manual reporting processes.
- Present insights clearly to management and assist teams in using dashboards effectively.
- Stay updated on BI tools and construction analytics best practices to improve reporting and analysis.
- Completion of a bachelor’s degree in computer science/data science/information systems or related field
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role within a data-driven environment.
- Experience with machine learning and analytics
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets.
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI
- Experience with Google Sheets, including Google Apps Script for automation and integrations.
- Familiarity with ETL concepts and data transformation tools
- Comfortable working with APIs and cloud-based data platforms
- Good understanding of data modeling, data governance, and best practices for maintaining data quality and consistency
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills; able to simplify complex data findings for non-technical audiences
- Proactive, curious, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a team setting
- Organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
