Project Manager – Ground-Up Commercial Construction
Location: Dallas–Fort Worth, TX
A well-established Commercial General Contractor in the DFW market is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team. This company has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality ground-up commercial projects across a variety of sectors and has a healthy backlog of upcoming work throughout the Metroplex.
Project values typically range from $5M–$50M+.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
- Coordinate with Owners, Architects, Consultants, and Subcontractors
- Lead subcontractor buyout and procurement processes
- Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
- Monitor project financials and ensure profitability targets are met
- Work closely with Superintendents to ensure successful project delivery
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager with a Commercial General Contractor
- Proven background managing ground-up commercial construction projects
- Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction software
- Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
