The Project Specialist plays an important role in supporting our project teams and ensuring work moves smoothly from start to finish. This is an entry-level professional position designed for individuals who are organized, detail-oriented, and eager to build a career in project management within the construction/telecom industry. This position is 100% on-site.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with setting up new projects and keeping project files organized and up to date. Support project documentation, including permits, scheduling updates, and progress tracking.
  • Help review and prepare project paperwork for final closeouts.
  • Learn how to track project activity and support accurate reporting and billing.
  • Provide assistance to other project team members as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development. Support company policies, procedures, and safety initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Some travel may be required.

What You’ll Need

  • Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable with basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Ability to read and understand project instructions, work orders, and reports.
  • Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, word processing, PDFs). Google Workspace experience is a plus. Ability to stay organized, manage tasks, and work independently with minimal guidance.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Work Environment

  • Frequently sit for prolonged periods of time
  • Occasionally stand and/or walk
  • Occasionally bend, squat, kneel or twist
  • Frequent use of sight (specifically, close to perform computer work), hearing and voice
  • Use of hands, arms, and fingers to perform routine and repetitive tasks
  • Light to moderate lifting (up to 30 lbs)
  • Operate a computer, telephone or other office equipment
  • Moderate noise consistent with computers, phones and printers
