Kata Solution Staffing has partnered with a progressive and family owned growing business in Central Ohio to identify a highly qualified professional for a Vice President of Finance opportunity.

This leadership role is ideal for an experienced financial executive with a strong background in strategic finance, operational leadership, forecasting, budgeting, and driving business performance within a dynamic organization.

We are looking for a candidate who can not only lead the financial side of the business, build out a Financial team and integrate multiple sites into one system.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Central Ohio for a Vice President of Finance. The Vice President of Finance will oversee the financial health of the organization by managing financial planning, financial reporting, and daily financial operations. This role includes analyzing financial data, preparing financial statements, building out a finance team to support business growth resulting from acquisitions over the past couple years, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic guidance to optimize resource allocation and drive business growth. Collaborating with leadership and stakeholders, the Vice President of Finance will play a key role in fostering financial stability and supporting organizational goals.

Salary Range: $150,000-$175,000

Qualifications

• Expertise in Financial Planning and Finance management to guide strategic decision-making and resource allocation.
• Experience in a family owned business
• Experience with building out a small Financial team to support rapid business growth
• CPA is highly preferred: (equal experience will be considered)
• Strong experience with preparing and analyzing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Proven Analytical Skills to identify trends, drive business improvements, and support informed decision-making.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills to collaborate with teams and present financial insights to stakeholders.
• Proficiency with financial management software and tools; CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with at least 7-10 years of progressive financial leadership experience.
• Manufacturing experience is required
• Multi site experience is a plus
• Processing of metal experience is a plus
• Merger and Acquisition experience is a plus
• Proven ability to improve operational efficiency rooted in financial performance
