We’re looking for a People Operations Temp to support a fast-paced creative agency environment. This role is ideal for someone who is systems-savvy, highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating a seamless employee experience across onboarding, offboarding, payroll, HR operations, and benefits administration. Agency experience is required.


This position will support the People team across HRIS management, payroll coordination, employee lifecycle processes, reporting, and operational support. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-moving environments, can manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and is comfortable working cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors.


Schedule

• Part-time, 25 hours/week

• Monday-Friday, 5 hours/day

• In-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday required


Responsibilities

• Own and maintain HRIS systems including ADP and benefits platforms, ensuring employee data accuracy

• Prepare and review payroll notes and registers for full-time and freelance employees

• Track freelance hours and ensure payroll updates are accurately reflected

• Support benefits administration and communicate with external vendors to resolve inquiries

• Assist with leave administration, tracking, and employee communication

• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding logistics across HR, IT, and Finance

• Draft contracts, separation agreements, and employee documentation

• Set up new hires in HR systems, benefits platforms, and background check systems

• Maintain digital and physical employee records

• Generate HR reports and support ongoing people operations initiatives

• Coordinate immigration documentation and status tracking as needed


Qualifications

• Previous experience in People Operations, HR Operations, or HR Coordination within an agency environment required

• Strong experience with ADP required; Employee Navigator experience strongly preferred

• Experience supporting payroll, HRIS systems, benefits administration, and onboarding/offboarding

• Familiarity with U.S. leave policies and employee lifecycle management

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Experience working in fast-paced, collaborative environments

• Familiarity with visa or work authorization processes is a plus
