Responsibilities
Position Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of Industrial Engineers, Operation Support Specialists and Methods Analysts with diverse skill sets.
- Experience creating and utilizing production metrics to make informed decisions and drive results.
- Provide experience to the development of headcount and other key components to future operations plans.
- Knowledge of IE Tools used in production i.e.: capacity analysis, facility layout, and production improvements.
- Manage the build process and compliance for engineering requirements, Quality Assurance standards, and customer contract requirements.
- Lead the development of new processes and changes in existing processes.
- Improve product quality and enable on takt production.
- Engage in whether the product can be produced, the quality of the product and the related processes.
- Manage the schedule of complex, competing priorities and report on realization to senior management.
- Demonstrate favorable results through coaching, mentoring and influencing others.
- Skills to navigate difficult situations and conversations to a productive outcome.
- Competency to complete task with little to no oversight.
- High School Diploma
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong experience in a leadership/management role
- Excellent Customer Relationship Management Skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with demanding and difficult customers with conflicting priorities within a fast-paced challenging environment.
- Experience working with multiple cross functional groups (Quality, Assembly, Procurement, Supply Chain, Machining, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, delegate effectively, strong collaboration skills and the ability communicate effectively.
- Provide technical expertise and business leadership cross-functionally, effectively communicate complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong ability to evaluate risk, make timely, succinct decisions.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Composites, Materials, Engineering Technology, or other related course of study.
- Experience in composite fabrication/manufacturing
- Experience in Assembly Manufacturing
- Lean manufacturing expertise
- 5 years of experience in an Aircraft or Aerospace Manufacturing environment
- Management experience

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range: $105,300 - $161,450
