Application Support Analyst II

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2 and 3 support for core banking applications, including troubleshooting and resolving complex application issues.
- Collaborate with business units to understand application requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Manage application upgrades, patches, and integrations.
- Escalate issues to vendors as needed and coordinate with them to resolve application problems.
- Ensure the stability and performance of applications through careful monitoring and proactive maintenance.
- Utilize diagnostic tools to measure, maintain, and troubleshoot applications, data systems, and services.
- Maintain optimal uptime of in-house information systems and services.
- Update and write documentation and procedures and provide related training.
- Analyze, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve underperforming or inconsistent information systems processes.
- Assist with application-level user provisioning for new hires, personnel changes, and terminations.
- Follow established departmental procedures and checklists, as well as bank policies.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or department head
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in application support, preferably in the banking industry
- Strong understanding of core banking applications and systems
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving complex application issues
- Experience with application upgrades, patches, and integrations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the banking industry
- Experience with ServiceNow and request management systems
- Familiarity with risk and compliance considerations in IT
- Knowledge of the role and functions of SFTP, Windows Services, and Single Sign-On
- Experience with scripting and automation
