Sales Representative / Account Manager / Project Manager


Job Purpose:

Service and develop existing accounts for repeat business, generate proposals, and close sales.

Develop new accounts.

Duties include:

• Initiate the sales process by scheduling appointments, asking questions, understanding your customers’ needs, identifying how you can help your customer improve his situation.

• Recommending new products and services.

• Generating proposals and presenting your products and services effectively. 25-35 proposals per month.

• Closing sales by building rapport with the customer, explaining your product and service

capabilities while overcoming objections.

• Project management. Ensure the product sold can be installed as ordered and that the product will work effectively for the customer.

• Cold calling in person and on the phone, introducing yourself, your company, and your product offering in a way that is most beneficial to the potential buyer.


Qualified candidates will have:

• Strong desire to learn and be successful

• Minimum 3 years Outside Sales experience with a proven track record.

• Ability to solve problems and handle technical application specific questions

• College degree preferred

• Ethical approach to business

• Ability to build lasting relationships with customers to ensure repeat business

• Strong desire to be successful in a small industry

• Reliable transportation. Estimate 25,000 miles per year. No overnight travel is required except for Sales Training which is held at the Manufacturing Plants.

• Ability to operate a computer. Word, excel, and power point as well as ACT database

management program.
