Key Responsibilities
Commercial Payments & Payment Automation
- Act as a strategic product management partner, influencing solution strategy, roadmap execution, and prioritization across core payment and automation solutions.
- Support payment capabilities across ACH, wire, check, virtual card, RTP, and emerging payment rails.
- Provide hands‑on subject matter expertise in payment and automation functions, including supplier enablement, payment orchestration, remittance, reconciliation, and working capital optimization.
- Own defined payment capabilities and initiatives, delivering clear requirements, success metrics, and business cases.
- Identify and address cross‑solution dependencies and experience gaps, shaping cohesive future‑state solutions through data‑driven insights and client feedback.
- Translate client workflows into scalable bank solutions across onboarding, implementations, servicing, and escalations.
- Partner closely with Treasury Management, Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Sales.
- Support front-line and implementation teams by clarifying product intent, constraints, and best‑practice usage.
- Navigate real‑world constraints including legacy systems, manual processes, and partial automation.
- Support or lead client and platform migrations, including vendor transitions, system consolidations, and feature migrations.
- Assess client impact, readiness, and risk during migrations; assist with parallel run strategies and change management.
- Document data flows, dependencies, and integrations; manage client impact and go live readiness.
- Prior experience supporting bank mergers, platform sunsets, or large-scale client conversions.
- Own products end to end, defining outcomes, success metrics, and tradeoffs.
- Write clear product requirements grounded in operational and client realities.
- Prioritize work based on business value, client impact, risk, and delivery complexity.
- Collaborate in Agile or hybrid delivery models with engineering teams.
- Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product management, payments, financial services, operations, or project management.
- Strong knowledge of commercial payments and AP automation solutions.
- Experience leading or supporting complex, cross‑functional initiatives in a regulated environment.
- Strong analytical, communication, and cross‑functional influence skills; comfortable operating with ambiguity.
- Experience with vendor hosted or fintech payment and automation platforms.
- Direct involvement with procure to pay ecosystems, supplier enablement, or B2C digital disbursement solutions.
- Background in commercial banking, treasury management, or payments fintech.
- Experience with payment networks or industry bodies (e.g., Nacha, The Clearing House, Federal Reserve, SWIFT.
