Full Stack Engineer

A well-funded, early-stage regtech startup on a mission to transform compliance for banks and fintechs is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help shape their platform from the ground up. What You'll Be Doing:

• Owning the quality, speed, and reliability of a microservices architecture end-to-end
• Simplifying user journeys and optimising microservices workflows across the platform
• Extending the domain model into a knowledge graph
• Designing and building distributed systems using event sourcing and an API-first approach
• Deploying microservices multiple times per day within a mature CI/CD culture
• Working directly with customers to close feedback loops and inform product direction
• Automating everything - from infrastructure to testing and deployment pipelines
• Expanding into Python and AI tooling as the platform evolves

What We're Looking For:

Engineering (Core Requirement)

• Extensive hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying distributed systems using Microservices and event sourcing with Node.js and React
• Solid experience with service-to-service communication, API design, and contract testing
• Automation-first mindset across infrastructure, testing, and deployment

Background

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
