Production / Technical Manager with Option of Deputy Plant Manager (m/f/d) - Mineral Wool

Your tasks:
- Lead the production department in a continuous 24/7 operation, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are met.
- Analyze and optimize production parameters in a thermally driven manufacturing process to improve efficiency and product quality.
- Develop and implement a Balanced Scorecard for production performance monitoring.
- Ensure availability and reliability of production equipment through close collaboration with maintenance teams for preventive and corrective actions.
- Implement Lean Management methods and continuous improvement initiatives (CIP/KVP) to enhance process stability and reduce costs.
- Optimize resource utilization while complying with sustainability and environmental requirements.
- Support investment projects such as expanding production infrastructure or introducing new technologies.
- Coach and develop shift supervisors and production employees.
Your profile:
- Degree in engineering (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Production Engineering) or equivalent technical qualification.
- Several years of experience in the production of mineral wool in a similar leadership role
- Strong knowledge of process engineering and plant operations.
- Experience with automation and control systems (PLC / process control systems).
- Experience in Lean Management, Continuous Improvement (KVP/CIP), and TPM.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate production KPIs and derive optimization measures.
- Leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and the capability to lead teams through technical change.
- Fluent English and at least basic German language skills.
