Tax Accountant

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review:
• Individual tax returns (1040)
• Partnership tax returns (1065)
• Corporate tax returns (1120/1120S)
• Estate & Trust tax returns
• Perform tax research and resolve tax-related issues
• Manage multiple client engagements and deadlines
• Communicate directly with clients regarding tax matters and required documentation
• Collaborate with junior and senior staff on tax projects and engagements
• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and high-quality client service

Qualifications

• 7+ years of public accounting tax experience
• Strong experience preparing complex individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with strong technical tax knowledge
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• CPA or EA license preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $125,000 – $145,000 annually
• Hybrid work schedule (2 remote days per week)
