Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role in Phoenix, AZ, for a Resident Director at Arizona Christian University. The Resident Director will oversee student housing and residential life, creating a safe, vibrant, and Christ-centered living environment. Responsibilities include managing resident assistants, addressing student concerns, facilitating community engagement, organizing educational and spiritual programs, and ensuring compliance with university policies. The role will also involve reporting and administrative duties to support the overall student housing experience.

• Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and team management abilities
• Effective oral and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• An understanding of student development, spiritual mentorship, and community building
• Ability to handle administrative tasks, maintain records, and enforce university policies
• A commitment to Christian faith and the mission of Arizona Christian University
• Bachelor’s degree required; a master’s degree in Higher Education, Counseling, or a related field is preferred
• Previous experience in student housing, student affairs, or similar roles is a plus
