Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Legal Assistant/Paralegal at our Tampa, FL office. The individual will assist attorneys by preparing legal documents, conducting research, organizing case files, and reviewing documents. Additional responsibilities include maintaining correspondence with clients, managing schedules, and providing administrative support to ensure efficient workflow within the firm.

Qualifications

• Skilled in the use of generative AI, including the use of Claude Cowork
• Experienced in e-filing of court documents in both federal and state courts
• Experienced in calendaring, scheduling, and managing busy people
• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing legal documents.
• Strong research skills and familiarity with legal procedures and terminology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in organizing, maintaining, and managing case files and documentation.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Knowledge of Florida/Federal rules of civil procedure is a decisive advantage.
• Proficiency with legal research tools and office software is required.
• Certification in paralegal studies or relevant experience in the legal field is highly desirable.
