Corporate Controller

Role Overview

The Controller oversees all accounting and financial operations within the company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial leadership. The role supports production-driven decision-making, cost control, and operational efficiency across corporate functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; ensure GAAP compliance; manage external audits.
• Cost Accounting- Oversee standard costing, bill of materials accuracy, variance analysis, overhead allocation, and inventory valuation.
• Accounting Operations- Lead AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger functions; maintain strong internal controls.
• Cash & Asset Management- Monitor cash flow, manage banking relationships, and oversee fixed asset accounting.
• Compliance & Policies - Maintain accounting policies, support tax filings, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Leadership- Supervise accounting staff, collaborate with plant leadership, and communicate financial insights to private equity and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
• 8-10+ years of experience, manufacturing experience required.
• Private equity backed experience preferred, not required.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, ERP systems, cost accounting, and inventory processes.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
