Upper School & Middle School Spanish Teacher

Kingswood Oxford is seeking a Middle and Upper School Spanish teacher who is passionate, innovative, and collaborative – an educator who models a growth mindset and is committed to equity-focused pedagogy. In addition to having a strong educational background and teaching experience in Spanish, successful candidates will be technologically savvy, have experience with curriculum design, and model best teaching practices. Candidates should also understand the importance of involvement in the community, student engagement and empowerment, ongoing professional development, and authentic collaboration with other faculty and staff to advance the school’s mission and strategic vision.

Curricularly, successful candidates should have a background in teaching middle and high school Spanish.

The Position Involves Multiple Parts

• Teaching 4 classes in Spanish, 2 at the Middle School and 2 at the Upper School
• Coaching/co-curricular duties for one season or the equivalent
• Advising a small group of Middle School students

These duties will be determined in discussion with the Department Chair, the Director of Athletics, and the Middle and Upper School Division Heads.
