Mercor is seeking a Biologist to evaluate AI model performance on biology problems, produce original problem sets, and annotate tasks to improve AI model outputs. The role requires a PhD in Biology or related life science, or equivalent experience. Requirements - PhD in Biology or related life science - MS in Biology with 3+ years research or industry experience - BS in Biology with 5+ years lab, field, or applied biology experience - Working fluency in at least two of: molecular biology, cell biology, genetics, ecology, physiology - Comfortable with pathway diagrams, gel images, phylogenetic trees, and microscopy - Clear technical writing skills
