Televic Rail
Televic Rail, the largest business unit of Televic, designs and delivers passenger information systems for railways, combining hardware and software on board and in control centers. It employs nearly 500 people, including 250 in Germany, 200 in Belgium, and 35 in the US. The unit generates over 100 million euros in revenue. The Western Europe region, managed from Izegem, represents about 50 million euros, with one-third driven by the US.

Televic is preparing for growth and is looking for a General Manager W-EU with full P&L responsibility, overseeing the entire value chain: Sales & Business Development, Purchasing, Production, Project Management, Project R&D, After-Sales & Services, and Quality, among others.
In This Role, Your Main Responsibilities Will Include
- Lead the Western Europe operations of Televic Rail NV (€50M revenue), report to the Managing Director Rail, and drive team development, organizational growth, and continuous profitability enhancements. Geographic responsibility covers Western Europe, including the Nordics, France, Southern Europe, Belgium, the Netherlands, and the UK.
- Contribute to the global strategy as part of the Core Management Team, and align regional actions with company objectives.
- Oversee the transition of activities for North American projects from Western Europe to the US hub, while ensuring smooth project execution from Belgium.
- Define and implement the regional business plan and long-term strategy with the Managing Director, ensuring delivery of strategic and financial (P&L) objectives.
- Personally lead and develop the Sales & Business Development organization to drive growth, identify opportunities, and strengthen key customer relationships.
- Oversee all daily operations across the full value chain (Sales, Purchasing, Production, Project Management, R&D, After-Sales & Services, Quality), ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
- Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing management team, driving collaboration, accountability, and organizational flexibility in a project-based environment.
- Drive continuous improvement of processes, performance, and cost structure, ensuring alignment with global standards and cross-country collaboration.
- Contribute to global strategy, innovation, and R&D priorities as part of the Core Management Team, aligning regional activities with market trends and company objectives.
- Manage budgets, investments, and business cases, working closely with support functions (HR, Finance, IT), and act as escalation point for key operational or customer issues.
