About TCS Corporate Affairs Europe
Within Europe, our Corporate Affairs division plays a strategic role in strengthening TCS’s relationships with governments, public institutions, EU bodies and key societal stakeholders. We contribute to policy dialogues, promote responsible business practices, and support initiatives that advance a resilient, innovative, and inclusive digital future for Europe.
This internship offers exposure to EU and national policy processes, multi‑country stakeholder engagement, and cross‑functional collaboration across the business.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
1.Business enablement:
- Help manage and respond to internal regulatory deep dive requests as they come in. Support TCS associates in engaging on supporting their client conversations.
- Create and manage regulatory repository on SharePoint, providing access to assets like slides, briefing notes etc on request as well as regular newsletter sharing.
- Check on movement of selected regulatory files.
- Coordinate internally and prepare meetings with colleagues.
- Participate and follow up on the internal meetings on the new policy point of views and positions we will work on with subject matter experts this year.
2. Stakeholder engagement
- Manage stakeholder trackers and database for various levels of public sector stakeholders.
- Support meeting briefings, creating background profiles etc.
- Support outreach process.
- Monitor topics and agendas of key stakeholders.
3. Thought leadership
- Help coordinate the assets to be created in collaboration with business.
4. Partnerships
- Help coordinate and track actions agreed with each partner.
- Support to nominate, invite and follow up on speakers for upcoming events and TCS Policy
- Summit.
- Support to coordinate TCS events with internal business, marketing, and Communications teams.
- Help coordinate the TCS memberships and share info further in organization.
5. Europe-India
- Help coordinate our presence and support briefings in the new TTC, EU-India FTA and EFTA etc.
6. General
- Support weekly and quarterly reporting.
- Logistical and admin support as needed
Your Qualifications:
- Enrolled in a bachelor's or master’s degree program in Political Science, International Relations, European Affairs, Public Policy, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience through academic work or internships in policy, public affairs, communications, or regulatory affairs
- Solid understanding of:
- EU institutions and EU‑level policymaking processes
- National and regional public institutions, semi‑government agencies, and public‑sector governance structures
- Industry bodies, business associations, and policy platforms relevant to digital, economic, or sectoral policy
- Digital policy at both EU and local (national/regional) levels
- Local digital transformation programmer, public-sector digitalization initiatives, or national strategies
