The MES Programmer is responsible for supporting and troubleshooting manufacturing software systems used in production operations, including testing, packing, and shipping processes. This role provides Level 2 software support, develops and maintains MES-related applications, and works closely with production and engineering teams to ensure system performance and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 2 software incident management and troubleshooting support.
  • Develop and maintain software applications for PTH, Testing, Packing, and Shipping processes.
  • Monitor and resolve software and system-related production issues.
  • Work closely with production, engineering, and IT teams to support manufacturing operations.
  • Maintain and update work hours in the Redmine system.
  • Update and manage ticket status in the Redmine ticketing system.
  • Support system improvements, testing, and implementation activities.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Experience with MES systems or manufacturing software support preferred.
  • Knowledge of software troubleshooting and incident management.
  • Familiarity with Redmine or similar ticketing systems preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with manufacturing operations and production support is a plus.
