Job DescriptionThe following are the core responsibilities for this role; you will also be expected to support the Corporate Affairs team on various projects and initiatives, and your duties will not be limited to this list.
Policy Research & Analysis Support
- Regulatory Tracking: Monitor, track, and summarize daily/weekly updates on key legislative and regulatory developments in Thailand relevant to e-commerce, digital economy, and logistics (e.g., data privacy laws, new consumer protection guidelines).
- Research Assistance: Conduct background research and gather data to support the team's policy positions.
- Documentation: You might get the opportunity to assist in preparing drafts of policy submissions and internal policy briefings for management review.
- Logistical Support: Provide essential administrative and logistical support for meetings, workshops, and events involving government officials, industry bodies, and external partners.
- Database Management: Maintain and update the Corporate Affairs team's stakeholder contact list and engagement tracker with accuracy and diligence.
- External Exposure: You might get the opportunity to attend external meetings with senior team members to observe policy discussions and learn effective engagement techniques.
- Media Monitoring: Monitor traditional and social media for relevant company mentions, industry news, and potential reputation issues.
- Materials Preparation: Assist in collating data, proofreading, and formatting external communication materials, such as press releases, talking points, and presentations.
- Crisis Support: You might get the opportunity to assist in preparing background materials during reputation or crisis management exercises.
- Project Implementation: Support the day-to-day execution and logistics of local CSR initiatives and community engagement projects.
- Reporting: Assist in gathering success metrics, photos, and materials needed for internal and external CSR reporting.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (Fresh Graduate) in Political Science, Public Administration, Law, Communications, International Relations, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Relevant internship experience in government, public relations, public policy, or a technology company is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Knowledge: Demonstrable interest and foundational understanding of Thailand's regulatory and media landscape.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Thai and English are required.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn quickly from senior team members.
