Director of Treasury - Private Equity

Director of Treasury - Up to $200k + 20%

Our client, a PE backed manufacturing company, is hiring a Director of Treasury. Reporting directly to leadership, the Director of Treasury will oversee enterprise liquidity, capital structure, financial risk management, and treasury operations for a multi-site manufacturing organization. This is a highly visible role that partners closely with executive leadership and private equity sponsors while managing key relationships with lenders, banks, and rating agencies. ***3 days onsite, 2 days remote

Key Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise cash management and liquidity planning, including cash forecasting, cash positioning, and short-term investing/borrowing strategies.
• Oversee working capital optimization
• Manage credit facilities, lender relationships, and covenant compliance while supporting capital structure decisions and growth initiatives.
• Serve as primary contact with banks, rating agencies, and lending partners, preparing reporting for leadership, lenders, and private equity sponsors.
• Oversee treasury systems, banking infrastructure, and payment controls
• Lead the company’s enterprise insurance and financial risk management programs
• Manage treasury-related vendors including banks, payment processors, and fintech partners.
• Oversee corporate real estate and lease strategy, including negotiations, renewals, sale-leaseback opportunities, and occupancy cost analysis.
• Lead and develop a team of treasury, credit, and collections professionals, establishing scalable processes and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive treasury or corporate finance experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Strong expertise in cash management, working capital, credit facilities, and capital structure management.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, PE-backed or leveraged environment.
• Professional certifications such as CTP, CFA, or CPA are a plus.
