You will report to the HR Manager (based in Cornwall), as part of the UK HR team. The role will operate with some autonomy, the successful candidate will be comfortable working alone as well as being part of a wider HR team across the country.

What you'll be doing:
- Recruitment and Onboarding: New hire onboarding.
- Employee Relations: Support Heads of Department (HoDs), including note taking and meeting preparation.
- HR Policies and Procedures: Work with HoDs and HR Manager on policy development, updates and cascade.
- Training and Development: Assist with coordination of Learning & Development programs to enhance the skills and performance of our internal customers.
- Compliance: Support the HoDs to ensure compliance with employment law and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge and making necessary adjustments to policies and procedures.
- HR Administration: Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including personnel files, benefits information, and HR databases.
- System Implementation: Assist with new HRIS and other HR related systems implementation process to include bulk uploading.
- Wellbeing Support: Providing support for employees on personal wellbeing, support available and acting as key point of contact for the sites on H&S and facilities requirements.
Who we are looking for:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems (MS D365/Simployer) and Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g. Team Tailor) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
- CIPD – Preferred (minimum Associate Level).
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal customers at all levels.
- Team Player: Collaborative approach to working within an HR team and with other departments.
- Adaptable: Flexible and able to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment. Able to work alone as well as part of the wider HR team.
