Ihre Aufgaben

• Sicherstellung einer effizienten Erfassung und Verbuchung von Eingangsrechnungen sowie der ordnungsgemäßen und termingerechten Abwicklung aller Kreditorenprozesse
• Bearbeitung und Buchung von Eingangsrechnungen
• Erstellung von Zahlläufen sowie Durchführung von Zahlungen
• Prüfung und Bearbeitung von Reisekostenabrechnungen
• Monatliche Abstimmung der Kreditorenkonten und Klärung von Differenzen
• Erstellung interner Reports (z. B. Offene-Posten-Listen)
• Unterstützung des Hauptbuchteams bei Monats-, Quartals- und Jahresabschlüssen
• Mitwirkung bei Jahresabschlussprozessen (z. B. Intercompany-Abstimmungen)
• Mitarbeit bei der Optimierung und Automatisierung von Rechnungsfreigabeprozessen in SAP
• Pflege der Kreditorenstammdaten sowie Abstimmung zwischen verschiedenen Systemen
• Sicherstellung der Einhaltung interner Richtlinien und externer Vorschriften

Ihr Profil

• Abgeschlossene kaufmännische Ausbildung, idealerweise mit Weiterbildung im Bereich Buchhaltung oder Steuern
• Fundierte Kenntnisse in der Rechnungslegung nach HGB und US GAAP
• 3–5 Jahre Berufserfahrung im Rechnungswesen
• Sehr gutes Zahlenverständnis und ausgeprägte analytische Fähigkeiten
• Sehr gute Kenntnisse in MS Office, insbesondere Excel, sowie SAP (SAP/VIM, Ariba, Concur von Vorteil)
• Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
• Ausgeprägte Kommunikations- und Teamfähigkeit
• Strukturierte, zuverlässige und eigenständige Arbeitsweise
• Hohe Eigeninitiative, Qualitätsbewusstsein und Serviceorientierung

The Role

We are looking for an experienced AP Accountant to join a fast-paced finance team, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable activities while supporting broader financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient invoice recording and posting, as well as accurate and timely processing of all accounts payable transactions
• Process and post incoming invoices
• Create payment proposals and execute payments
• Process travel and expense claims
• Perform monthly AP reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Produce internal reports (e.g. open item lists)
• Support the General Ledger team with monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities
• Assist with year-end closing processes, including intercompany reconciliations
• Contribute to the optimisation and automation of invoice approval processes in SAP
• Maintain vendor master data and ensure reconciliation across systems
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations

About You

• Completed commercial training, ideally with additional qualifications in accounting or tax
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, including HGB and US GAAP
• 3–5 years’ experience in an accounting role
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
• Advanced Excel skills and solid SAP experience (SAP/VIM, Ariba, Concur advantageous)
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organised, reliable, and able to work independently
• Proactive, hands-on approach with a strong sense of ownership
