We are seeking a highly motivated candidate for the position of Full Stack Systems Engineer within Information Technology Department under Asian Systems Office.
The successful candidate will be part of a growing dynamic regional team that in charge of Full Stack Development. This is a critical platform where plenty of innovation and transformation will happen. You will be expected to play an important role in ensuring good quality, timely delivery of the system development and participate in proof-of-concepts for emerging technologies.
Job Responsibilities:
Technical Expertise:
- Provide subject matter experience in system analysis and design.
- Ability to lead the technical design of the solution based on the principles of standardisation, security and resilience
- Develop technical specification document based on functional requirement.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Developers/Testers to ensure technical requirement are met.
- Support the preparation and execution of test plans, including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Manage the outstanding defects/change requests, prioritize with Project Managers and Business Analysts and plan for the fix or implementation.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Ensure all technical documents are up-to-date and accurately reflect the system design and functionality.
- Assist in the transition of system from development to production status.
- Provide support for operation promotion tasks, ensuring smooth handover to Production Support team.
- Participate in quality reviews and contribute to the achievement of quality objectives.
- Ensure that all deliverables comply with MUFG IT standards and governance.
- Regularly monitor system performance, system usage, and resource consumption and take preventive measures before issues arise.
- Apply security patches for vulnerabilities and updates to keep system up-to-date.
- Manage EOL/EOS for Hardware and Software.
- Propose improvements to enhance system performance and efficiency.
- Consider the introduction of new technologies and tools, and plan system upgrade.
- Liaise with the relevant teams including vendors to investigate reported issues/problem, identify root cause/impact, implement workaround and fixes to resolve issue.
- Get into the technical investigation at the application level for trouble-shooting and resolution.
- Minimum 6 Years of technical experience with specialization on OpenShift Kubernetes and Full Stack development in the financial industry.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with Co-pilot Dev-Ex or AI coding technologies.
- Experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodology
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field
- Knowledge in Java/J2EE platform, Oracle DB, SQL, Unix/Linux, IBM WAS, DB2, MQ and IIB would be an advantage
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams or offshore team
- Strong communication skill to liaise with stakeholders, team members, and products vendors
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated and possess drive, and ability to work independently and a good team player
