Our two brands, Shark and Ninja, have enjoyed unprecedented growth in the past 5 years, driven mainly by the very strong innovation pipeline on both brands. Given this success in our existing markets, SharkNinja has embarked on a bold plan for growing the APAC business, in which APAC plays a critical role.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Head of People & Culture to join our team. This role will be based in Seoul, Korea.
Position Overview
Reporting to the GM of North Asia and with a dotted line to the VP for People & Culture in Singapore, the Head of People & Culture Korea will partner closely with the business and shall be responsible for the day-to-day administration of HR policies and procedures as well as the support of all HR initiatives in accordance with corporate guidelines and local laws.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational goals, providing guidance on workforce planning, performance management, and employee development.
- Drive the shaping and embedding of an Outrageously Extraordinary culture that inspires exceptional performance and makes our organization a place where people thrive.
- Build strong relationships and engagement with employees and leaders at all levels.
- Support the full spectrum of HR functions including onboarding, payroll processing, HR advisory, employee relations, performance management, employee development, and exit management.
- Manage the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring a great experience for new employees and a smooth start into their roles and integration into the company’s culture and values.
- Support training and development programs for employees to support business growth.
- Oversee the day-to-day HR Operations and act as the first point of contact for employees to answer day-to-day HR-related questions and provide advice when needed.
- Support in the implementation of functional and regional HR initiatives across APAC regions.
- Advise and support managers and employees on employee relations, policies, and HR best practices while ensuring compliance with labor laws and company standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a relevant field.
- At least 15 years of experience in human resources functions, ideally within the consumer electronics and/or FMCG sector.
- Strong knowledge of local labor laws, HR principles, and practices in Korea.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to excel in a multi-cultural environment.
- Ability to work independently, hands-on, and within a team in a fast-paced growth environment.
- Resourceful, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
