Job Description
General Functions:
This key position performs unskilled or semi-skilled work in support of maintenance and construction tasks throughout County buildings, facilities, utilities, and grounds. Duties may include manual labor, assisting skilled trades, and operating equipment.
Work is performed under the general supervision of a designated supervisor. Work is reviewed in progress and upon completion.
Representative Duties/Assignments:
Duties may vary based on area of assignment. The following are representative duties; it is not the intent to capture all duties performed by this classification.
- Build and maintain raised bed vegetable gardens.
- Classroom and event set-up and breakdown.
- Vehicle equipment maintenance.
- Open and close facility daily.
- Take Lakewatch water samples monthly by boat.
- Assist in distributing trees to citizens.
- Experience in basic vegetable gardening in Florida.
- Experience in construction and maintenance of raised bed gardens.
- Experience working with youth.

Salary Information
Pay Grade: 009 - From $17.01 to $19.29
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Educational Requirements
